IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Self explanatory.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:Shortstack 5'7", moderately solid but largely from a less-than-healthy life of extremely hard labour, less so actual body fat. Moderately tattooed and scarred, all of which are visible. Very square. Noticeable North English accent.
•DEMEANOR: Izzy has been the second in command under Blackbeard (and functional captain, thanks to Ed's whimsy) for at least multiple years, and he carries himself to match. Straight back, squared shoulders, if you don't move he will mow you down. Slow to anger but quick to be a spiteful little bitch. Tends to lean heavily on one leg while at rest, with his hand on his hilt, but never visibly relaxes. He's not unreasonable - he's willing to yield if a valid point is made, and he's not immune to manipulation - but if he's insistent on something he is damn near impossible to shift, and is quick to react with violence if slighted: he has a reputation to uphold, after all.
•ABILITIES: As a first mate Izzy has an exceptional memory for numbers and supplies, can make excellent estimates for supply usage over periods of time per person involved, knows how to ration supplies or equipment or when to take the risk to go all out, and knows how to outfit a ship for months at sea, from sails to sleeping quarters.
As a pirate he's a fully capable swimmer, even fully clothed and weighed down with weapons, and has at the bare minimum a functional knowledge of how to man, load and fire cannons. He's a master swordsman, particularly and specifically in fencing and is a renowned dueller, is excellent with blackpowder guns, and is fully prepared to kill or maim anyone he enters combat with. He also knows how to not kill a person, for torture or information purposes, and subsequently also how to help them recover, at least to a non-professional, learned-entirely-on-the-job life experience sort of way.
As a member of Blackbeard's crew and his right hand, he understands the value of a good performance, and is a perfect "bad cop", and is perfectly willing to use threats, blackmail and violence to make his point made and get results.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Completely mundane human, could probably use more vitamins. Missing one toe, the wound of which has yet to heal on arrival.
•CABIN INFORMATION: Floor 7, cabin 9. His pesronal cabin from his previous ship.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Subjects that your character might find offensive.
IC PERMISSIONS:

Izzy is very much a product of his time, in that he is an abused, incredibly emotionally repressed individual from a period of active slave trade; and while it's not a particularly prominent part of his character, as a white English male in a position of strong social power, Izzy has been shown to participate in the following:
- Casual/implicit racism (uses two large POC as his guard dogs, unconscious prioritising of white crew)
- Homophobia, towards open displays of queerness (noted by his own actor as being "confused" and threatened by both Lucius, openly flaming, and Jim, gender nonconforming; while he doesn't react with violence he is distinctly and openly uncomfortable)
- Transphobia, in relation to non-typical displays of gender (see Jim)
- Outright abuse, gaslighting and other forms of emotional manipulation (particularly regarding Edward Teach)
- Good old fuckin' murder. Not just in the context of piracy, but genuinely cold-blooded and premeditated.
If any of the above isn't something you'd want to have to deal with, either personally or for your characters, I'm totally fine with that! It can be a lot and it's not something that I want to force on anyone, at all. Below are opt-ins for the offensive stuff, and opt-outs for playing with him entirely if that's not something you ever want to deal with. If you don't leave a comment, I'll default to assume you're okay with interaction, but steer clear of the bolded above.

I'm OK with anything for Jedao; Tik-Tok is in an extremely weird racial situation (robot who looks human and who has lead a life of slavery that's explicitly a mirror of black chattle slavery, who looks racially ambiguous) and I'd rather not deal with anything explicit on the race side with him, but like "subconsciously not prioritizing" levels of racist is fine. Also OK with Izzy being super weird about the robot thing! New vistas of people to be racist about!

Which of the above topics are you okay with Izzy bringing up ICly? All three of mine would probably read weird to him, XXC being not white on top of expressing nothing recognizably masculine by western standards. I'm ok with whatever, XXC being likely to meet him with total bemusement, Adrian with a lot of scoffing, and Envy, well, he's... Envy, violence and cackling are equally likely.

Which of the above topics are you okay with Izzy bringing up ICly? Okay with everything! You already mentioned Izzy's dislike for fanciness, but I also think a person like Sebastian would not read as "straight and manly" to someone with Izzy's attitude. In canon one person tries to insult him by pretty much calling him a pretty boy twink.
